2026/06/25 Animal Welfare Campaign 7月月間、日本サステイナブルレストラン協会主催、アニマルウェルフェアアクションキャンペーンに参加します。 平飼い卵や放牧卵などアニマルウェルフェアに配慮した卵を使用したメニューを提供し、その背景や生産者の想いを来店客へ伝えることで、日本における平飼い卵（ケージフリー卵）の認知と消費拡大を目指す取り組みです。 日本は年間1人あたり約320個を消費する世界有数の卵消費国でありながら、平飼い卵の流通比率は5％未満という現状があります。 少しでも平飼い卵の普及啓発にお役に立てますように、様々な形でメニューに使用していきたいと思います。
2026/06/01 Renewable Energy Initiatives Relection Design Co., Ltd., the operating company of KIGI, has offset the environmental impact of total electricity consumed at KIGI between April 2025 and March 2026 (42,520 kWh) by acquiring Non-Fossil Certificates. Because KIGI is located within a hotel property, we are unable to independently choose our electricity supplier or contract terms. Nevertheless, we implemented this initiative to take full environmental responsibility for the energy used in our business operations. Furthermore, this offset utilizes environmental value generated by solar power facilities in Ishikawa Prefecture, a region currently undergoing disaster recovery. We chose this approach to support both local revitalization and the broader transition toward renewable energy. Even when direct switching to renewable energy sources is not feasible, we remain committed to contributing to the adoption of renewable energy and the creation of a sustainable society by appropriately offsetting our environmental footprint.
